Biography. Daniachew Worku was born in the village of Wiha-Teggeb in His father had lived in France for many years, even fighting for the French in World War I, before returning to Ethiopia. Worku had a good education and trained to be a teacher. He started writing early, first poems and then plays and articles for the press.The Program Era Project Dagnachew picked up literary courage as early as when he was thirteen by staging his own play at Debre Sina. His early publication is a play entitled "Sew alle biyye" (). When he was a teacher in Harar, he staged another un-published play: "Seqeqenish isat".
